Bear was a feral kitten when we first took him in for the SPCA foster program, so we don't really know his heritage. He doesn't really match any of the known breeds - he could be part Maine Coon, but his physical build is not like one - he doesn't have dense, solid muscles, and has fairly short legs. His coloring is a bit unusual - very much like a sable-colored Burmese, only darker. Basically he's a mutt. :) Actually, our cat Tommy is half Maine Coon, half American Shorthair Bobtail.
