We &#039;adopted&#039; a stray Tom over the last several month. It started with him showing up looking hungry, so he let me feed him. Not long ago, on a cold night he actually let me pick him up, we had negotiated that ear scratches were OK, and bring him in, but he wanted his bowl, not the other cats&#039; bowls. OK. He goes out a lot.

Yesterday he goes out at his normal 6 AM, shows up this morning about 9, wants breakfast and goes back out. We have 8 inches of snow on the ground, did you know cats make good plows? We haven&#039;t seen him since.</description>
