I sacrificed a few hours of sleep last night to finish Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code”. I have to say, when I finished, I kind of wished I’d gone to sleep instead. I won’t say too much because I don’t want to give away plot if you haven’t read it, but given the generally excellent reviews the book has gotten, I felt that the ending was a real wimp-out.

Haven’t yet read DaVinci Code, but have read Angels & Demons (another book by Brown) and kinda felt the same way. that story had tons of promise but seemed to always fall into the clich
Hallelujah!!!! Finally someone with the same opinion of the ending of the DaVinci Code! I definitely felt like it ran out of steam and copped out a little at the end.
Please explain the ending to me, thanks. Dan
Please explain the ending to me? Was I the only one who thought Robert Langdon was dreaming the whole time?
I just this afternoon finished the novel, The DaVinci Code. I felt a little cheated that all the great suspense of the story was so quickly deflated. (But he WASN’T dreaming) Perhaps more of a cliff hanger would have suited the nature of the story. I was delighted though, in some of the plot twists. I am still amazed that Sophia was so shocked by what she saw her grandfather doing that she wouldn’t speak to him again during his life. Did I miss something there? Wasn’t it a pretty natural thing, albeit, in an unusual setting. I think perhaps someone talked the author into a few too many compromises and cop outs.
The ending was simple. The Grail exists as a spirt of woman in heaven.
Please do not read this trash. It is a disgrace to Yahshua HaMashiach and Mary Magdalene. Satan is using Dan Brown to lead people away from the Messiah and onto the pathway to Hell. Dan Brown, if you are listening, you have dishonored YAHVEH and YAHSHUA to make millions of dollars. You had better pay it back quick to promote the good news of Yahshua (also called Jesus) or God Yahveh will hold you accountable at your judgement for leading his children into the hands of the enemy.
