Fiat Lux

It’s a measure of how normal kitten fostering has become for us that I realized I’d forgotten to mention our most recent foster. Mabel (the black kitty on top of the box) has only been with us for about a week. After Aaron went back to the SPCA, Marcus was crying pretty much non-stop. We asked for another kitty to give him a companion, and picked up Mabel.
They’ve been romping and playing like crazy, are gaining weight rapidly, and should both be ready to go back to the SPCA in the next few days.
Very cute, I love this one!
Post-Katrina Cat Blogging
POST-KATRINA CAT BLOGGING….Here’s a rare photo of Inkblot and Jasmine hanging out together in a rare moment of harmony. California sunshine does that to them occasionally. And though it may seem as if the camera angle makes size comparisons unfair,…
I’m a visitor from Political Animal. I’m curious about the foster kitten program. What happens to them at the SPCA? Are they held there until adopted?
How adorable! I’m bookmarking this site so I can come back to visit more kitten or catblogging.
Thanks for a sweet picture — perks me up after a long day!
LeisureGuy — the kittens stay at the SPCA until they are adopted. Here’s their website: http://www.sfspca.org if you’d like more info.
