Well for F-stop hold a piece of neutral density filter over the lens and obviously you can adjust color densities the same way. As a point of information this is what a dark room does when doing color prints.

Perhaps your F Stop was too high when you took the photo? Were you sitting still or moving? And you should check your color saturation: too much blue?
