That’s it, in a nutshell.

I realize this is an issue that causes a lot of pain and confusion, even for some people who are generally liberal on social issues.

Bottom line, though, is that change is not always pretty, or safe, or easy, or even comfortable.

No on 8. It’s the right thing to do.

  1. My step-sister-in-law (a devout Roman Catholic) at her husband’s retirement party. I should mention that she is also a Greenwich Ct. Doctor’s wife: “If same-sex marriage is allowed then marrying your dog will have to be allowed”.

    A Roman Catholic Nun, assumed to be devout as she was in full habit -floor length, in direct response: “Bullshit”.
