Good one from The Sideshow this morning:
Mr. Sideshow came in earlier and quoted to me a permutation of Arthur C. Clarke's famous formulation that I'd never heard before:Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice.

Indifference and incompetence by some officials kills the vulnerable and demeans us all.
More than a third of all Guard from LA, MS and AL are on active duty in Iraq- protecting the wrong Gulf's citizens.
More than 100 people in the triage med unit at the NO airport died while waiting evacuation to hospitals. Many dozens died at the hospitals waiting for evacuation.
St. Rita's Nursing Home in NO had not completed their emergency evacuation plans, so they did not evacuate their patients. They were left in their beds to drown. Their remains have not yet been collected.
