Sunset in San Francisco

I took this shot Saturday night, shortly before 7:00PM.

Right now, it's 5:26 PM and fully dark out.

This sucks.

It does suck. But, to quote the Mekons, only darkness has the power.

(Stretching a bit to find an upside...)

artistry:

I wouldn't mind winter if weather had some consistency. The month of October here has been cold and uncomfortable, forcing us to turn on heat much sooner that we would normally. Except Monday, which was altogether lovely ... nearly 70 degrees and clear. All that makes today an even greater affront. With kids out for trick or treating, we will have wind gusts up to 30 MPH and our high today is supposed to be 39°. What happened to Indian summer? Was Monday it?
